
Javan Morgan
Javan Morgan is a former collegiate football standout and graduate of Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU), where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a minor in Business Administration. As a key member of FAMU’s renowned “Dark Cloud Defense,” Javan played a pivotal role in leading his team to a 2023 SWAC Championship and a Celebration Bowl victory, earning recognition as the 2023 SWAC Defensive MVP.
His exceptional athleticism and versatility earned him national attention, including a spot on Bruce Feldman’s 2023 Freaks List, Preseason Phil Steele All-SWAC First Team (2023), and All-SWAC Second Team (2022). Known for his elite range and high-impact play, Javan made a lasting impression as a dynamic and reliable defensive back throughout his college career.
Before college, Javan excelled as a multi-sport athlete at the high school level. In his senior season, he recorded 30 receptions for 488 yards and 5 touchdowns, 37 carries for 309 yards and 5 touchdowns, 56 tackles (38 solo), 2 interceptions—including one returned for a touchdown—and 478 kickoff/punt return yards with 3 touchdowns. His outstanding performance earned him the prestigious Tallahassee Quarterback Club Gene Cox Most Valuable Player of the Year award.
In addition to football, Javan competed in basketball and track & field, concluding his high school athletic career as an FHSAA 2A silver medalist in the long jump.
