Kenyia Johnson

Kenyia Johnson is a former collegiate women’s basketball player and a proud graduate of the University of Evansville, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management. During her collegiate career, Kenyia was a standout guard and key contributor to the Evansville Purple Aces. Her on-court excellence earned her All-Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Second Team honors in 2015.

Kenyia also spent part of her college career at Eastern Kentucky University. Unfortunately, her time there was cut short due to a season-ending knee injury, but her impact and leadership were still felt both on and off the court.

Before college, Kenyia made a name for herself as an electrifying left-handed guard at the high school level. She was recognized as the Florida Athletic Coaches Association (FACA) 7A Player of the Year and finished her high school career as the all-time leader in points, assists, steals, blocks, and rebounds—a testament to her versatility and dominance on the floor.

Today, Kenyia has transitioned from player to mentor. She is passionate about developing the next generation of athletes, helping them maximize their potential, overcome adversity, and reach their athletic goals. Her journey, marked by both triumph and resilience, fuels her dedication to inspiring and guiding others in the world of sports.
